Dani Drumond is the director, screenwriter, director of photography and editor of the documentaries "Água Rasa", "Filadelphia" and "Carne e Casca", and director of photography for "Cantareira" and "Verde", by Rodrigo Ribeyro.
He received the Candango Award for Best Cinematography at the 54th Festival de Brasília for "Cantareira", which premiered at the 74th Festival de Cannes and was awarded 3rd Place at the Cinéfondation. The short film also won the Revelation Prize at Curta Kinoforum, the Canal Brasil Prize at Goiânia Mostra Curtas, and the Curta Cinema Grand Prize, which enabled it to compete for a vacancy at the Oscars 2023. "Filadelphia" won the Solidarity Prize for Working Class at the Canadian Labor International Film Festival and Best Film by the Popular Jury at V Favera. "Carne e Casca" was awarded as the best short film at the Festival Pêcheurs du Monde.
With the music video Moinhos de Vento, Dani was awarded Best Cinematography at the Festival Nos Vemos en 16:9 and received an honorable mention at the New Generation Film Festival. He was also awarded the best film by the popular jury in the 5th Superoff for the Super8 short "Dollmaker". He was curator of the II Muído - Festival de Cinema de Campina Grande.
